"Kelpie" is the very first Giant Schnauzer I ever owned. Giants are very "rare" in my part of the country and we had to look for a very long time to find one to buy. Kelpie and Chewy have produced some very nice pups for us through the years. We kept one "german coated" pup out of the last litter (named "Wookie") tho they mostly produced "American Coats".



Kelpie is a big "Lap Dog" and she will jump up in the chair with you (and tip you over backward) anytime she feels she is being invited. She's a very Gentle and CALM dog and everyone loves her.



The Vet. weighed her on 30 Jan., 2004 and she weighed 138.1#!! She's a very big girl!
